PGAE is a registered Egyptian civil association working nationwide in economic development, professional training and community service. Among the mandates our members have given us is one we hold with particular pride: acting as the official P&G Alumni Network chapter for Egypt.

Every function, every era
Who we are
Two things at once, and clear about both.
On 18 May 2025 a group of Egyptian professionals signed the articles of a civil association and filed them with the Cairo Directorate of Social Solidarity under Law 149 of 2019. That association is the legal entity behind everything on this site.
Its founding community is the alumni of Procter & Gamble Egypt — people who spent formative years in one of the most demanding training grounds in Egyptian business and left carrying a method, a standard and a habit of developing others. That heritage shapes how we work. It does not define the limits of what we do.
Our bylaws register thirteen fields of activity, with economic development as the primary one. We build professional and managerial capability, run vocational and employability programmes, publish and convene, and deliver community service — nationwide, for Egyptians, whether or not they ever set foot in a P&G building.
Separately, and by agreement with the global P&G Alumni Network, PGAE serves as the official P&G Alumni Network chapter for Egypt. That is a real and formal responsibility. It is also one mandate among several, carried by an independent Egyptian non-profit that answers to its own General Assembly and to Egyptian regulators.
What we do
One association. Four mandates.
Each one sits inside the fields of activity registered in our bylaws, and each one reports to the Board through a standing committee.
The P&G Alumni Network chapter for Egypt
The official Egypt chapter of the global P&G Alumni Network. We maintain the verified Egyptian alumni directory, host reunions and chapter gatherings, connect members to the worldwide network, and represent Egypt in global chapter forums.
Professional and managerial capability
The PGAE Academy: structured tracks for graduating students, early-career hires, first-time managers and senior leaders, taught by alumni who ran these functions for a living. Subsidised and scholarship seats put it within reach of talent that could not otherwise pay for it.
Community service and giving back
Vocational and employability programmes for youth, women and new graduates; feasibility and advisory support for small enterprise; social, educational and family-care initiatives drawn from the thirteen fields registered in our bylaws.
A member community that holds
Benefits, mentoring, recognition of members' achievements, a social and cultural calendar, a member magazine, and the digital platform that makes all of it findable. The bonds are the asset everything else is built on.

Elected by the General Assembly and serving on a rotating basis, as required by our bylaws and by Law 149 of 2019. The Board sets direction, approves the annual plan and budget, and receives quarterly reports from every committee.

How the work actually gets done.
Members do the work; committees organise it. Each committee operates independently within its mandate and reports to the Board every quarter — the discipline our strategy calls for and our bylaws require.

We operate as a non-profit association under Egyptian law, with a written constitution, an elected and rotating board, independent committees, and a code every member signs. Strictly no involvement with religion or politics.

Summarised here in full. Concerns about conduct are raised confidentially with the President or a designated Board member; the Board reviews them fairly and gives the member concerned an opportunity to respond before deciding on any action, in accordance with the bylaws.
